SimPlus has been awarded by MPA to undertake the “Consultancy Study for Capacity Planning of Anchorage Space and Marine Traffic’.
The study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the current status of usage of resources like anchorages and waterways, benchmark the same against other leading ports, and scientifically quantify the capacity of the anchorages and waterway keeping in mind the mix of vessel types, movement patterns and dwell times.
SimPlus has conducted several capacity planning and risk assessment studies in the past, and will tap on its vast experience to undertake this project, due for completion in 2017.
