SimPlus has been commissioned to conduct a formal safety assessment for a multi-agency project involving Ministry of National Development (MND), Maritime Port Authority (MPA), Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) and Housing Development Board (HDB).
Extending the project completed for MPA, this study is to focus on the traffic in the regions of interest in the Port of Singapore, over the next couple of decades, and assess the risk level under the different peak traffic scenarios. Under IMO’s FSA framework, SimPlus’ Vessel Traffic Management (VTM) system will be used for the purpose.
